Ingredients

  • cup butter
  • cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • cup corn syrup (light or dark)
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon vanilla
  • quarts popped corn

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to .
  • Melt butter, then stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Boil, without stirring, minutes.
  • Remove from heat, stir in soda and vanilla, and mix well.
  • Pour over popped corn and mix well.
  • Spread in baking pans (shallow) and bake for hour at , stirring every minutes.
  • Cool. Break apart. Store in containers, or just eat it all.
