Ingredients

  • cup plus tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon salt
  • cup ( stick) butter or margarine, softened
  • cup packed brown sugar
  • cup granulated sugar
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • large egg
  • cup ( ounce package) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to .
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.
  • Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  • Beat egg.
  • Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  • Stir in morsels and nuts.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls into ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for to minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool on baking sheets for minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
