Ingredients

  • cup white vinegar
  • cup water
  • cup vegetable oil
  • cup corn syrup
  • Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. dry pectin
  • 2 Tbsp. beaten egg or egg substitute
  • tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • tsp. minced garlic
  • dried parsley flakes
  • Pinch of dried oregano
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients with a mixer on medium speed or in a blender on low speed for seconds.
  • Chill at least one hour.
  • Serve over mixed greens, or use as a marinade.

Tip

For a ”lower carb” version… Omit the corn syrup and replace with a little extra oil and some fake sugar.
