Ingredients

  • cup sugar
  • eggs
  • ( ounces) can sweetened condensed milk
  • teaspoon vanilla
  • cup water

Instructions

  • Melt sugar over low heat while stirring constantly.
  • Pour into quart casserole dish.
  • Coat bottom and sides.
  • Beat eggs and add milk, water, and vanilla.
  • Pour into casserole.
  • Bake hour at or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool, invert, and chill.
