Ingredients
- cups smooth peanut butter
- ( pound) bag powdered sugar
- teaspoon vanilla
- cups butter
- ounces chocolate chips
- ounce paraffin (cooking wax - hardens and shines up the chocolate - not necessary, but helpful)
Instructions
- Combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and butter.
- Roll into inch balls (buckeye size) and chill one hour.
- Melt chips and paraffin in a double boiler.
- Coat balls with chocolate mixture and let stand till set.
- Enjoy at room temperature or frozen.
Tip
Use toothpicks to dip peanut balls in chocolate and stick other end of the toothpick in a piece of Styrofoam. Your buckeyes will come out perfect this way.
